In the late 1970’s, Mark and Brenda Wiger (MBW) realized the vision of the future in human services was to restore communities. The reintegration of persons with developmental disabilities into their families and community has enabled growth and contributions to society.
In 1978, MBW Company began to provide homes for persons with developmental disabilities. The first home provided residential services for eight individuals with developmental disabilities, allowing them to return to their home communities, while learning independent living skills.
In 2006, MBW Company became a 100% employee-owned corporation (ESOP). As an ESOP, our dedicated staff continue to provide unique and superior services to the people we support and their families.
In the fall of 2018, MBW Company became the Employee Ownership Network (EON) Incorporated. The change in name reflects the addition of new employee owners. It also reflects new services added throughout the state and acquisitions (Gleseners Assisted Living in 2016 & Lighthouse Lodge in 2018).
EON, Inc. has grown into a larger company with a very personal touch. EON, Inc. currently provides services to over 200 individuals.
Our quality services are provided by well-trained, caring staff of approximately 300 Employee Owners.
